Meet Our Doctor
Baltimore, MD Dentist
Jesse L. Ritter, D.D.S., P.A.
“Partnering with patients to improve their overall health, dental health, self esteem and overall quality of life are some of the reasons why I love dentistry. My personal mission is to positively impact the dental health of our surrounding communities and positively influence the lives of anyone my practice touches.”
– Dr. Jesse Ritter
Baltimore dentist, Dr. Ritter grew up in the small town of Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania. He has two older brothers and a younger sister. Growing up, he was an energetic kid who loved school and sports. He also had big dreams. He thought he wanted to be an astronaut and travel to Mars some day. He also thought he wanted to be a professional athlete. Even though neither of those dreams came true, his dream of having a wonderful wife and a career he loves did.
Dr. Ritter attended Penn State University where he obtained his Bachelor of Science degree. He then went on to attend professional school at the University of Maryland Dental School where he graduated in. He then completed a 1-year residency to receive advanced training in General Dentistry at York Hospital in York, Pennsylvania where he gained advanced training in all aspects of general dentistry.
His commitment to advanced dental education hasn’t stopped there. He is a firm believer in Continuing Education (CE) and staying up to date with the latest techniques, technology, and materials. Thirty hours of CE are needed per two years in Maryland to maintain a dental license. He strives to complete 100+ hours per year. He feels he owes it to his patients to constantly improve his skills and expertise.
He is very passionate about helping patients build their confidence and self-esteem by getting a smile that reflects their true self. He believes changing someone’s smile can truly change their life.
Dr. Ritter is an active member of the AACD (American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry). He has completed advanced studies at the L.D. Pankey Institute as well as completing the Core Curriculum at The Dawson Academy which focuses on comprehensive dentistry as well as treatment of temporomandibular disorders and occlusal disease
Outside of dentistry, he enjoys spending time with his wife Saleha, son Ryan, and daughter Zara, trying different types of food, golfing, reading, exercising, and cheering on the Ravens.
